Just when you think Joe Morgan has hit the ultimate low point, he takes it down a notch. Amazing ability to suck in the clutch, state the obvious, and consistently avoid speculating on anything until it's a second guess (thus he can't appear wrong).
I did think Jon Miller had a decent game. And it was fun hearing Erin Andrews pronounce "Metrodome" as three separate words (though in general she's solid enough).
Comments....
At least his buddies Ken Griffey Jr. and Barry Bonds aren't in the playoffs so we don't have to hear Joe drone on and on about their greatness.

That Met-ro-dome nonsense out of Erin Andrews was hilarious. She's good to look at though. Zito looked very average and the Twins still couldn't muster much off of him. They blew it in the 8th, getting a lead off double by Barlett, and Castillo not being able to lay a bunt down. Bartlett was also lucky he didn't get picked off. Castillo is 1 of the better bunters in the league also. With Cuddyer scoring on Bradley's miscue in the 9th it would have been a tie game. Instead, Thornbury's prediction gets caked after 1 game. Miller at least twice in the broadcast referred to Bartlett as "Josh" Bartlett. I'd expect that out of Morgan or Berman, but not Miller. Posted by Erickson at 10/4/2006 12:33:00 AM
I'd rather hear Erin Andrews say 'Met. Ro. Dome.' than Greg Gumbel say 'Chicogo'. Posted by ESiegrist at 10/4/2006 1:03:00 PM
