Hines shot less than 40 percent from the field (4-of-11) for the third time in five showings, yet went a perfect 4-of-4 from the foul line to pace all Texas-Rio Grande Valley scorers with 13 points on Saturday. The senior also paired two rebounds and a single steal with a team-high tying two blocks - his first multi-blocked shot outing of the month - in the defeat. Hines struggled greatly as shooter in a loss to UMKC two weeks ago (0-of-5 from the floor), but otherwise has remained a consistent point producer, reaching double figures in nine of his last ten appearances. The 6-8, 215-pound forward finds himself averaging 13 points a game in conference play as a result and continues to top the Vaqueros in scoring for the year. To his overall numbers against WAC foes, the Chicago, IL native adds 5.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists an appearance.
