Lovren was left off of the 27-player squad named by Croatia coach Ante Cacic for the summer's Euro championship, reports the Daily Mail.

The Liverpool defender and Cacic had a falling out following a friendly match against Hungary after the player was an unused substitute. Cacic said the player he chose were the best he had to choose from.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lovren made a clean sheet and two shots off target in Wednesday's 4-0 victory over Everton.

In extremely lopsided game the Reds had 37 shots on goal, 11 of which came from the defensive line. Lovren has enjoyed a couple of strong offensive performances but he's never been much of a fantasy factor and probably this trend won't continue for too long. At least he's making a strong case for his starting spot when Martin Skrtel returns from injury.

Lovren returned to the lineup and won a pair of tackles during Wednesday's 3-0 win over Manchester City.

The 26-year-old had not started a league match in nearly a month, but he returned as Liverpool put on an excellent all-around performance. The Reds have played much better at the back lately, and Lovren's return should help them sustain their current form. A Sunday date with Crystal Palace is next on the schedule.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lovren is likely unavailable for Thursday's Europa League clash with Augsburg after being forced out of training due to an illness.

The center back has had a number of injury concerns throughout the season, missing time thanks to ankle, hamstring and knee injuries. However, when he's in the lineup, he can make a huge impact in holding down Liverpool's shaky back line. In 16 Premier League appearances, the team's kept six clean sheets while keeping just two in 10 matches without him.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lovren (hamstring) will not play in Thursday's Europa League match against Augsburg, as he has gone back to Croatia to deal with a family illness, according to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo.

Lovren has been dealing with the injury for the past few weeks, including a return and aggravation of the ailment, and he'll now have to wait until next week's second leg against Augsburg to return.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lovren (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's match against Aston Villa.

Lovren suffered the injury last weekend against Sunderland and will likely be replaced by Kolo Toure on Sunday. On the plus side, manager Jurgen Klopp said Lovren has a chance to return for next Thursday's Europa League match against FC Augsburg.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lovren left Saturday's match against Sunderland in the first half with a possible recurrence of his hamstring injury, according to Andy Kelly of the Liverpool Echo.

Kolo Toure replaced Lovren on Saturday, and he could move into the starting lineup if the latter has to miss any time, as Martin Skrtel is still a few weeks away from returning from his own injury.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lovren returned from his hamstring injury Tuesday against Stoke City in the league cup, though he was an unused substitute.

Liverpool have been using Kolo Toure alongside Mamadou Sakho of late, but Lovren's return to fitness is likely to allow him to start next Tuesday against Leicester.
