Thomas played 90 minutes in a 3-0 victory at Walsall in Tuesday’s Capital One Cup second round match.

Thomas recovered from a knock picked up in preseason to take his place in the starting line-up for what was a routine win. Thomas remains a poor fantasy prospect due to his place far down the pecking order for wingers at the club, especially with Jason Puncheon now returning from suspension.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas (knock) didn't make the bench for Saturday's home defeat to West Ham United.

Thomas was named in the squad by caretaker manager Keith Millen and it remains likely his exclusion from the bench was due to a surplus of players available. Thomas rarely featured for Palace last season and as a back-up represents little value to fantasy managers.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas is in the squad for Saturday’s clash with West Ham, caretaker manager Keith Millen told the Croydon Advertiser.

Thomas has only played sporadically since joining Palace and has a chance to prove himself thanks to Jason Puncheon’s one-game suspension this time out. He has contributed next-to-nothing since arriving last August and his position as back-up results in a low fantasy value.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Thomas has started training over the past couple of days after a knock kept him out of the first game against Arsenal, caretaker manager Keith Millen told the Croydon Advertiser.

Thomas has barely featured for Palace since signing last August and should know his future once the South London club appoints a new manager. The winger has little fantasy value due to being a backup for the club and the constant injuries lessen this yet further.

Thomas was held out of Crystal Palace's 2-1 loss to Arsenal on Saturday as he continues to deal with a knock.

Thomas has been battling numerous injuries for awhile now, so it will likely be some time until he's back to full fitness.

Thomas returned to the Crystal Palace lineup Saturday as a substitute for the Eagles' match against West Bromwich Albion. Thomas came on as a substitute in the 81st minute but was unable to provide much fantasy value in his short time on the pitch.

Saturday's action was the first time Thomas has played since November. He did not have much fantasy value before getting injured and there is no reason to think that has changed now that he has returned.

Thomas (groin) has increased his training and may be in the lineup for Saturday's match against Stoke City, the Croydon Advertiser reports.

Thomas has not played since November due to a groin injury and is hopeful to at least find a spot on the bench for Saturday's match. The striker provided very little fantasy value before the injury, so expectations should be low when he does return to the pitch.

Thomas (ankle) could be out until the end of 2013 due to a groin injury he suffered in training three weeks ago, the Croydon Advertiser reports. Palace coach Keith Millen said Thomas "is progressing and luckily no surgery was needed. However, it was quite a tear in his groin. He'll be a while still, I don't know the exact time on it but it's certainly weeks."

The nagging injuries that Thomas is trying to work through are clearly winning, as he is now not expected to be available until January. He has very little fantasy value anyway, with his injuries reducing it even further.
