Hazard took two shots and drew five fouls during Chelsea's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Hazard was very active, though neither of his shots were on target. He has now drawn 15 fouls in his last three club matches in all competitions, though fantasy owners are relying on him to score goals, not to draw fouls.

Hazard netted his first goal of the season by converting a penalty in the 27th minute of Chelsea's 2-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Fantasy owners who paid a high price for Hazard were certainly not happy with his fantasy production of late, though it should be noted that he's continued to be a very dangerous attacking player. While the goal didn't come in open play, Hazard is fully capable of getting hot in a hurry, which fantasy owners will hope happen following the international break.

Hazard started and played 68 minutes before being subbed off for Andre Schurrle during Chelsea's 3-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

Hazard has had a very slow start to the season, as he has just one goal and one assist through six matches. He has been particularly quiet of late, failing to take even a single shot in any of the last three games in all competitions (two Premier League matches). However, he is capable of taking over a game at a moment's notice, so while he is struggling right now, he could turn it around quickly.

Hazard is closing in on a new £200,000 per week contract with Chelsea, according to the Daily Mail.

Negotiations between the club and the player are advanced and expected to conclude in the next few weeks. It is expected to be a five-year agreement, which would take him out of the running for a transfer to Paris Saint Germain.

Hazard made the starting XI for Saturday's game against Swansea.

Hazard shook off a knock picked up on Belgian international duty and could well pick up at least an assist given Diego Costa was also declared fit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hazard's shot in the 67th minute bounced off defender Seamus Coleman and found the back of the net during Chelsea's 6-3 demolition of Everton on Saturday.

Unfortunately, the own goal doesn't get Hazard any fantasy points in most leagues, and he's not even given credit for a shot attempt. Hazard has been a bit up-and-down this season, failing to register a shot in two of three games, although he scored in the other and is always dangerous with the ball on his foot, but if he isn't going to start scoring more, fantasy owners may start to jump ship given his high price tag in salary cap games.

Hazard scored in the 77th minute of Chelsea's 2-0 win over Leicester on Saturday.

After a relatively quiet Premier League opener last Monday against Burnley, Hazard put both of his shots on target Saturday, which included his first goal of the season. He'll look to start a goal streak next weekend against Everton at Goodison Park.

Hazard started and played 84 minutes before being replaced by Didier Drogba in Chelsea's 3-1 win over Burnley on Monday.

Manager Jose Mourinho speculated in the days ahead of the match that Hazard would be held out after minimal training following a quarterfinal run at the World Cup with Belgium, but there was Hazard on Monday back in his usual spot at kickoff. Hazard helped set up Andre Schurrle's 21st-minute goal by dribbling through multiple defenders to get the ball near the box, showing he remains a top class player in the Premier League. He remains an elite fantasy option with a home match against Leicester City next on the fixture list.
