Hazard failed to make an impact in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace.

Hazard had just three dribbles and four key passes but just one off-target shot in the surprising home defeat. Hazard was a lock for fantasy managers last season with double-digit goals and assists. The international may be what he needs to rediscover the form of last term.

Hazard recorded his first assist of the season in Chelsea's 3-2 win over West Brom on Sunday.

Hazard set up Chelsea's opener thanks to a nice one-two passing sequence with new teammate Pedro, who finished off the Blues' first goal. Although Hazard has been rather quiet from a shooting perspective so far, fantasy owners can at least be encouraged by his assist over the weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hazard took one shot on goal and was issued a yellow card in Sunday's 3-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Hazard likely could've done more with his opportunity at the edge of the six-yard box, but was parried nicely away by City keeper Joe Hart. The often industrious Hazard was bossed around the pitch by the physical presence of Manchester City's midfield, but still could've made a greater impact on the game. He was cautioned only twice in 38 appearances last season and discipline is unlikely to be a problem for the Belgian midfielder.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hazard scored 19 goals and dished out 11 assists in all competitions this season, which was his most productive since moving to Chelsea.

The Belgian was in excellent form all season, as he never went more than two matches without factoring into a goal and even won 14 Man of the Match awards. Hazard is firmly in manager Jose Mourinho's lont-term plans, as he is under contract until 2020.

Hazard is in the starting lineup for Sunday's season finale against Sunderland.

Hazard had oral surgery this week and was doubtful for the match, but he'll take his regular spot in the starting lineup for the 38th time this season against a weak Sunderland side that has already clinched their spot in the Premier League for next season.

Hazard could miss the Premier League season finale Sunday against Sunderland after undergoing dental surgery this week, manager Jose Mourinho said Friday.

Hazard, the PFA Player of the Year, has started all 37 games so far this season, so fantasy owners who rode him this far can't fault him for missing the last match which has no importance on either side of the pitch. It's unclear who could replace him, though it certainly opens a spot up for Juan Cuadrado, who has been sparingly used since being acquired in January.

Hazard won the PFA Player of the Year Award on Sunday.

Hazard was widely believed to be the favorite ahead of finalists Diego Costa, Alexis Sanchez, David de Gea, Philippe Coutinho and Harry Kane, the latter of whom won the PFA Young Player of the Year Award. Hazard co-leads the Premier League in goals by a midfielder (13), while his eight assists trail only Cesc Fabregas, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Angel Di Maria and Leighton Baines. He is arguably the most important piece of the Chelsea attack, one that has them just six points away from clinching the Premier League title.

Hazard took a team-high four shots and scored in the 38th minute of Chelsea's 1-0 win over Manchester United on Saturday.

With Diego Costa (hamstring) still sidelined, Hazard has taken the attack on his shoulders. He's been excellent of late, scoring four goals in his last six games, with two assists over that span. Chelsea will all but lock up the Premier League title with a win against Arsenal at the Emirates next Saturday.
