Lewandowski took a season-high 12 shots, with five on goal, and scored twice during Bayern Munich's 2-0 win over Hoffenheim on Sunday.

Lewandowski has been firing away of late, taking 20 shots, with eight on goal, in his last two games. He's scored four times over that span and now sits at 19 for the season, trailing only Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (20) for the Bundesliga lead.

Lewandowski fired off eight shots and scored both goals in Bayern's 2-1 triumph over Hamburg on Friday.

After a miniature two-game goalless stretch, the 27-year-old bounced back in a big way, leading the charge as the champions secured their fifth-straight victory. Lewandowski has already surpassed his goal total from all of last season, and his status as the centerpiece of a devastating attack has him easily on pace for the best return of his prolific career. He will look to add to his impressive totals Sunday versus Hoffenheim.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lewandowski fired off five shots and scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-0 triumph over Ingolstadt.

The Pole continued his excellent season in front of goal, upping his team-leading total to 15 in 15 league appearances. Lewandowski has cooled off a bit after a scoring an absurd 12 goals in four games earlier this season, but the seven he has in his last 10 appearances is still an excellent return. The man is one of the most dangerous strikers in the world at the moment, and another productive day could be in the cards as Bayern travel to take on 16th-place Hannover this Saturday.

Lewandowski took five shots, with two on target, but failed to score during Bayern Munich's 1-0 win over Werder Bremen on Saturday.

Lewandowski had a six-match goal streak for club and country heading into Saturday, finding the back of the net an astonishing 15 times over that span. Up next is a tough road match against Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Lewandowski scored two goals Saturday against Mainz, four days after netting five times in 45 minutes against Wolfsburg.

Lewandowski is having an absolutely incredible season for Bayern, as he has scored at least once in five of six games. His 10 goals lead the league thanks to his incredible effort against Wolfsburg, a total which only two players in the entire league have surpassed so far this season (Pierre Emerick Aubameyang with seven and teammate Thomas Muller with six).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lewandowski came on as a second-half sub and scored the match-winner in the 90th minute of Bayern Munich's 2-1 win over Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Bayern went down 1-0 after just nine seconds and then went down to 10 men in the 73rd minute when Jerome Boateng picked up his second yellow, but Lewandowski saved the day late. Despite coming on in the 67th minute, Lewandowski still finished with five shots, including four on goal. He has scored in both of Bayern's Bundesliga matches this season and remains a contender to win the Golden Boot.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lewandowski took a co-team-high four shots, scored a goal and assisted on another in Friday's win over Hamburg.

Lewandowski had a solid 17 goals and five assists last season, his first with Bayern, though the goal total was actually down from his previous two seasons when he bagged 24 and 20 goals, respectively, for Borussia Dortmund. Bayern are expected to dominate the Bundesliga yet again, and Lewandowski has a legitimate shot at leading the league in goals.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lewandowski scored 25 goals and added seven assists in all competitions this season, finishing as Bayern Munich's joint top scorer.

The Pole was undoubtedly expecting to score more goals, but was part of a balanced Bayern attack that spread the goals around. Lewandowski has no intention of leaving the German giants this summer, as he is under contract for four more years at the club.
