Bentaleb will not return from his knee injury for Sunday's season-finale against Newcastle.

Bentaleb wasn't likely to get much playing time anyway, so his continued absence shouldn't affect many fantasy teams.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bentaleb is expected to miss about six weeks after undergoing surgery on his left knee.

Bentaleb suffered the injury during a U-21 match versus Leicester City last week, and the club quickly determined that going under the knife was the best option. The midfielder will be out until May, but Tottenham should be able to cope, considering he has made just seven appearances this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bentaleb (ankle) was introduced in the 41st minute of the Europa League clash with Monaco.

That's his first game since late August. The Algerian has been delaying his return for a while now and the Spurs may use him with caution at first until he gains full fitness. He shouldn't be a fantasy factor, at least, for now.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bentaleb (ankle) is out for the London derby versus West Ham on Sunday, ESPN reports.

He sustained a knock to his ankle during Algeria's 7-0 World Cup qualifying win over Tanzania on Tuesday. "This is one step back but I am sure that in the next few days he will be available to be selected again." Said boss Mauricio Pochettino.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bentaleb (ankle) made his return back to the pitch for Algeria, and played the full second half in the match against Tanzania on Nov. 14, the Evening Standard reports

Bentaleb has been sidelined since August with an ankle injury, and he has been using recent international matches to work on his fitness. In his fist match back he played the entire second half and then followed that outing up with 36 minutes in the return fixture. He could be in contention to return for Tottenham this week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bentaleb (ankle) has been ruled out Monday night against Aston Villa.

The 20-year-old hasn't played since Aug. 29 with this ankle injury. He's extremely valuable to the team's success in a holding midfield role, but that doesn't translate to fantasy success.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bentaleb (ankle) is out Sunday against Bournemouth.

Bentaleb's fantasy upside isn't great, so his continued absence isn't likely to affect many rosters. His next opportunity to play will come Nov. 2 against Aston Villa.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Bentaleb (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Liverpool.

Bentaleb has played well for Spurs this season, though his value translates more to real life soccer than fantasy production.
