Mitroglou returned from a knee injury when he came on in the 58th minute Saturday against Stoke City. He was unable to provide any stats of fantasy value, and Fulham lost 4-1.

Mitroglou has been a major disappointment since signing with Fulham in January. The Cottagers spent a record amount of money to bring the Greek striker in, and he has played in just three games due to injury. He has been unable to pick up a goal or an assist with Fulham this season and was unable to help them avoid relegation.

Mitroglou returned to training earlier this week, reports GetWestLondon. Fulham manager Felix Magath is optimistic about his return, but mentioned Saturday's match against Hull City may come too soon.

Mitroglu has managed to play only two times since joining from Olympiakos in January, failing to score a goal on seven shots. He appears to have been a big bust for Fulham, but may have two chances late in the season to redeem himself and help Fulham avoid relegation.

Mitroglu remains sidelined with a knee injury, with no timetable for a return, the club's official web site reports. "Kostas is still out so not much has changed for the weekend," manager Felix Magath said Thursday. "He wanted to play but unfortunately he had his injury three or four weeks ago and we have to manager the situation, that's normal."

Mitroglu has managed to play only two times since joining from Olympiakos in January, failing to score a goal on seven shots. At the rate he's going, it's entirely possible that he will miss the rest of the Premier League season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitroglou is expected to see a specialist in Italy for his knee injury as there are now fears his season could be over, the Evening Standard reports. Fulham are hopeful the specialist can provide treatment that would allow Mitroglou to return for the Cottagers' push to avoid relegation.

Mitroglou has been a fantasy disappointment since joining Fulham in January. He was signed to a record four-year deal and brought hope to improve the struggling Fulham attack, as well as replace the outgoing Dimitar Berbatov as the team's go-to goal scorer. Unfortunately, injuries have limited Mitroglou to just two appearances for Fulham.

Mitroglou (knee) is still nursing a knee injury and will not be fit for Saturday's match against Manchester City, the Daily Express reports. He was a late scratch for last weekend's match against Newcastle United and will need more time to recover.

Mitroglou was in Fulham's starting XI on Saturday for their match against Cardiff City. Despite not scoring, he showed his ability to create shots by attempting a league-high seven shots in Gameweek 29.

Three of Mitroglou's seven shot attempts were on target. If he can continue to have good accuracy on a high number of shot attempts, he could provide good fantasy value for the rest of the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Mitroglou (Hamstring) managed to play 60 minutes for Greece on Wednesday, but Fulham manger Felix Magath will wait until after he is assessed by the team's medical staff before determining his fate for Saturday's match against Cardiff City, The Independent reports.

Mitroglou was brought to Fulham to fill the void left behind by departed striker Dimitar Berbatov. However, Magath is looking for players who are "ready for 90 minutes of a relegation fight."
