Jakupovic returned to the bench as a reserve for Saturday's match against Burnley.

Jakupovic had made two consecutive starts while Allan McGregor and Steve Harper missed time with injuries. Harper's return Saturday pushed Jakupovic to the bench. With McGregor expected back after the international break, Jakupovic will become the third option again for Hull City.

Jakupovic made two saves but allowed a goal in the third minute during Saturday's 0-1 loss to Southampton.

Jakupovic has done well filling in for injured goalkeepers, Allan McGregor and Steve Harper. In his two starts he has allowed just one goal and made five saves. If he is still in goal for Hull City's next match he will have excellent fantasy value as the Tigers face Burnley.

Jakupovic will be the starting goalkeeper Saturday against Southampton while Allan McGregor and Steve Harper will continue to miss time due to injuries, reports Sky Sports.

Saturday will be Jakupovic's second consecutive start for Hull City. He is coming off keeping a clean sheet against Liverpool and will get another tough test against Southampton this weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jakupovic made his first start of the season Saturday against Liverpool and was able to keep an impressive clean sheet on the road in Anfield. Jakupovic made three saves as he was under pressure for the majority of the match.

Jakupovic was impressive, but his time in goal may be short-lived. There is a chance regular starter, Allan McGregor could return for the team's next match, pushing Jakupovic back into a reserve role. If Jakupovic does remain the starter for another week, it will be a tough match against Southampton.

Jakupovic came on for the injured Steve Harper in the 43rd minute of Saturday's match against Arsenal. Jakupovic made three saves before allowing a late equalizer in stoppage time during the 2-2 draw.

Regular starter Allan McGregor and Harper are now both dealing with injuries which could give Jakupovic an opportunity to see some time in goal for the Tigers. Hull City's next match is away at Liverpool and would be a tough match for Jakupovic, or any Hull City goalkeeper, to produce much fantasy value.
