Kaka had six shots, including three on goal, Saturday as Orlando City fell to the Columbus Crew 4-1 at home.

Kaka may have paced all players in both total shots (six) and shots on goal (three) in Saturday's fixture, but ultimately proved unable to find the back of the net for the second time in as many appearances in the loss. The midfielder, who also completed 75.6 percent of his passes against Columbus, nevertheless heads into a Sept. 24th match at D.C. United Orlando City's No. 3 in total scoring (eight) and now averaging 1.9 key passes a showing.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kaka scored two goals in Wednesday's 4-1 win over Montreal. He finished with three shots.

Kaka is stepping up when Orlando need him the most. The Brazilian scored a brace for the second straight game and he's up to eight goals to go along with eight assists on the season. He'll continue to be leaned upon as Orlando City go in search of the final playoff spot in the East.

Kaka accounted for both of Orlando City's two goals on four total shots (three on goal) Sunday as the Lions defeated New York City FC 2-1 at home.

Kaka knocked in a rebound on his own failed attempt on goal in the 32nd minute of Sunday's fixture, then punched through a go-ahead score in the 63rd minute on a penalty kick to register his first-ever multi-goal MLS performance. The midfielder, who also logged six clearances in the victory over NYCFC, continues to enjoy a resurgence under new head coach Jason Kreis and enters the month of September having now combined for three scores, three assists and 18 shots (10 on goal) since Kreis joined the team in mid-July.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kaka scored once on three total shots on goal and assisted on an early first half Orlando City equalizer by Cyle Larin Sunday as the Lions played Chicago to a 2-2 draw on the road.

Kaka took a pass from Perez Garcia in the ninth minute of Sunday's match and chipped it in the direction of Larin, who fought off a Chicago defender and knocked the ball pass goalkeeper Sean Johnson to tie the game at 1-1. Orlando City's captain then notched a score of his own in the 32nd minute, slotting a rebounded shot into the upper portion of the net to put the Lions up 2-1 heading into halftime. The defender's performance against the Fire not only yielded Kaka's first goal in six appearances, but also provided the Brazilian with his eighth assist of the year, a new team-high. He too tied a season-high for shots (3) in the draw, leaving him having now tallied multiple attempts in three of Orlando City's last four matches.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kaka assisted on Orlando's only goal of its 3-1 loss to Seattle on Sunday. Kaka connected with Seb Hines on a corner kick early in the match, but that was about all the luck they had as Kaka had just one shot on goal.

Due to his passing finesse and corner kicks, Kaka will remain a threat every week he plays. He has seven assists on the year, but has a couple tough matches coming next with Chicago and Colorado on the road.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kaka had three shots and accounted for one of three team assists Sunday as Orlando City defeated New England 3-1 at home.

Kaka combined with Luke Boden to set up Kevin Molino's second goal of the match in the 83rd minute of Sunday's fixture and, in doing so, recorded his first assist since a May 25 draw with Philadelphia. The defender, who also produced his second-highest shot total in nine appearances versus the Revolution, heads into the month of August firmly entrenched as the Lions' No. 2 in assists (six) and trailing only Kevin Molino (nine).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kaka returned to action for the first time in three games Saturday as Orlando City SC played Columbus to a 2-2 draw on the road.

Kaka's first appearance since injuring his calf during Orlando City's 4-0 loss to Dallas on July 4 saw the midfielder both recording two shots (none on goal) and handling a corner kick in the 65th minute which resulted in Kevin Molino turning a battle for a loose ball in front of Columbus goalkeeper Steve Clark into the Lions' opening score of the game. Saturday's fixture also represented the first time in Kaka's MLS career he entered a contest off the bench, with the Brazilian ultimately logging 30 minutes playing time after substituting in for Julio Baptista near the midway point of the second period.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kaka (calf) is available off the bench Saturday against Columbus.

Kaka had missed the previous three games with the injury, but he has finally recovered enough to be available off the bench. He will likely not have much fantasy value this week coming off the bench, but he will likely resume his starting role next weekend.
