Kaka (undisclosed) will return to the starting XI against the Union on Saturday, Paul Tenorio of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Kaka was held out of Wednesday's game but he's expected to take on a full workload Saturday since he was likely just rested earlier in the week. He heads into Saturday with nine goals and four assists on the season.

Kaka will not play Wednesday against Toronto because of an undisclosed injury suffered Saturday against Columbus, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

There was no word that Kaka was dealing with any kind of ailment, so it's a bit of a surprise that he'll take a seat. However, he noted that he will play Saturday against Philadelphia, so the injury is obviously not considered serious.

Kaka had an assist, two shots, four crosses and two fouls drawn during Orlando City's 5-3 loss at New York City FC on Sunday.

Kaka's assist was his first since May 17 against the Galaxy, and while he continues to be a vital piece of the Orlando City attack, he has yet to have his full breakout performance that many were expecting in his first year in MLS.

Kaka scored in the fifth minute but was given a straight red card in the 45th of Orlando City's 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake on Saturday.

Kaka's goal was his third in the last four games, as he continues to find different ways to put the ball in the back of the net. Unfortunately, he'll now miss next weekend's match against FC Dallas before returning July 18 against the Red Bulls after being caught stomping on RSL midfielder Javier Morales.

Kaka took a game-high six shots and ultimately scored the winning goal off a rebounded missed penalty for the 1-0 victory over D.C. United on Sunday.

Kaka had a poor outing last week against the Fire, failing to even take a shot after 89 minutes on the field, but Sunday's performance was far more representative of what he brings to the table for Orlando. As it stands, the Brazilian has seven goals, 31 shots, 11 on goal, and two assists after his first 15 Major League Soccer outings.

Kaka scored from the penalty spot for the third consecutive game during Orlando City's 2-2 draw with Columbus on Saturday.

Kaka now has six goals on the season, but only his first two were from open play, the latter of which came back on March 28 against Montreal. It's a little tough to rely on penalties for fantasy purposes, but Kaka continues to be the engine that makes the Lions' attack roll.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kaka failed to attempt a single shot during Orlando City's 3-0 loss at Columbus on Saturday.

Kaka came into the match with two goals in his last three games, and Saturday's performance was the first time he's finished an MLS match without even taking a shot. The Brazilian superstar, who still has three goals and one assist in seven games this season, will look to break through next weekend against Toronto, who allowed three goals to FC Dallas on Saturday.

Kaka scored off a deflected free kick in the 91st minute during Sunday's 1-1 draw with New York City FC.

Kaka saved the day for OCSC after they went down to 10 men earlier in the match. He looked every bit the best player on the pitch Sunday and he'll continue to be the obvious focal point of the expansion franchise.
