Knee - ACL
April 21, 2021
Sicily (knee) isn't expected to see the field this season, Jon Ralph of the Herald Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
Sicily suffered a torn ACL back in August and isn't expected to play in 2021, though he's apparently progressing well in his recovery. He hasn't been officially ruled out for the season, but it's safe to declare him out indefinitely until the team indicates otherwise.

Suffers major injury
DHawthorn Hawks
Knee - ACL
August 16, 2020
Sicily ruptured his ACL during Sunday's loss to West Coast.
ANALYSIS
Sicily had to be helped off the field near the end of Sunday's loss, and he received a discouraging diagnosis after the match. He'll require approximately 12 months to recover from the injury, so Sicily could miss a significant portion of next season.
Scores in defeat
DHawthorn Hawks
July 25, 2020
Sicily scored one goal and collected 23 disposals (18 kicks, five handballs) to go with seven marks during Saturday's 60-53 loss to Sydney.
ANALYSIS
Sicily is in excellent form with at least 23 disposals and seven marks over his last three matches. With how congested the game became in rainy conditions, Sicily was able to play a key role despite the loss. He's worth keeping an eye on, especially as his value rises.
Gets 24 disposals in loss
DHawthorn Hawks
July 19, 2020
Sicily collected 24 disposals (16 kicks, eight handballs) and made eight tackles during Sunday's 91-48 loss to Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Sicily has stepped up in a big way after a relatively quiet start to the season, and his 22 marks and 52 disposals from the last two matches have represented an exceptional tally. He'll have a good shot to maintain his pace against Sydney.
Productive in heavy loss
DHawthorn Hawks
July 10, 2020
Sicily tallied 28 disposals (17 kicks, 11 handballs), 14 marks and zero scoring shots in Friday's 59-27 loss to Collingwood.
ANALYSIS
Sicily took a career-high 14 marks Friday, producing his best game of the season. His 28 disposals marked a season-high yet also indicated how much of the ball was in the Hawks backline. With only three goals for the game, it's not surprising the Hawks defenders were called upon to do a lot of heavy lifting. Unless they can get things trending in the right direction, Sicily could again be a sneaky source of fantasy value next weekend against the Demons.
