Aaron Judge News: No timeline for outfield return
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Thursday that Judge's timeline for returning to the outfield remains uncertain, MLB.com reports.
Judge will take a step forward in his recovery from a right elbow flexor strain by throwing from the outfield to the bases Sunday, but the slugger still hasn't done so at full velocity. Because Judge has been limited to serving as the Yankees' designated hitter since he returned from the injured list Aug. 5, Giancarlo Stanton -- who had previously been a full-time DH -- has gotten some exposure to right field while also moving in and out of the lineup. Stanton has started just four of New York's past seven contests.
