Alek Thomas News: Idle against southpaw

Thomas is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.

The left-handed-hitting Thomas will exit the starting nine for the first time since July 8 while the Astros send southpaw Colton Gordon to the hill. With Thomas on the bench, Corbin Carroll will slide over from his usual spot in right field to cover center field.
