Blake Snell News: Goes on paternity list

The Dodgers placed Snell on the paternity list Saturday.

Snell most recently took the hill in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Padres, limiting San Diego to two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings. He'll step away from the team while he welcomes a new addition to the family, but since MLB rules allow him to stay on the paternity list for just 1-to-3 days, Snell should be back with the Dodgers when his next turn through the rotation comes up Friday versus the Diamondbacks. The Dodgers activated Kirby Yates (back) from the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move.
