Genesis Cabrera News: Signs with Twins

Cabrera signed a minor-league contract with the Twins on Tuesday, Bobby Nightengale of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Cabrera entered free agency after being DFA'd by the Pirates on Thursday. He'll now aim to rebound in the Twins' farm system after enduring a tough season that's seen the 28-year-old turn in a career-worst 5.79 ERA through 28 innings in the majors.
