2024 Fantasy Outlook
Perkins joined the Brewers last offseason and made his MLB debut in 2023, posting a .217/.325/.350 slash line with four homers and five steals in 67 games. The offensive production was forgettable, but a 13.9 percent walk rate coupled with strong defense (11 DRS) led to a regular role before being sidelined for a month during the second half with an oblique strain. Perkins seems unlikely to operate as much more than a fourth outfielder given Milwaukee's plethora of young outfield talent, but he could still provide some bench value for the Brewers. ANALYSIS
After making his fifth consecutive start in Thursday's 1-0 loss to the Pirates, Perkins has now found himself on the bench twice in the Brewers' three-game series with the Nationals. The switch-hitting Perkins should still be a regular part of the lineup against left-handed pitching, but he looks set to serve as Milwaukee's fourth outfielder more often than not when the team faces righties.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Perkins is known for his defense but finally started to find a bit of a rhythm offensively in 2022, putting up an .813 OPS with 15 home runs and 21 stolen bases over 101 games between Double- and Triple-A in the Yankees organization. That earned him a major-league contract from the Brewers even as he's yet to see any action at the big-league level. The switch-hitting Perkins is 26 but still a work-in-progress and Milwaukee figures to use his options and keep him at Triple-A to see if he can continue to build some momentum.
