2023 Fantasy Outlook
Anderson underwent an internal brace procedure on his pitching elbow in October of 2021 and had his rehab assignment in 2022 delayed due to continued elbow soreness. He never made it back with the Rays, getting shut down late in the year because of plantar fasciitis. Tampa Bay wound up cutting him loose and Anderson quickly latched on with the Braves. Anderson had a run of being one of the most dominant relievers in the game before injuries began to sabotage him in 2021. Lingering questions about his health and potential effectiveness remain, but he's certainly one to keep an eye on. Read Past Outlooks

Nabs third win
Anderson (3-0) picked up the win Thursday over the Phillies, striking out two in a perfect eighth inning.
ANALYSIS
The right-hander fanned J.T. Realmuto and Alec Bohm before Atlanta broke open a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the eighth. Anderson has been able to stay healthy this season and has held down a high-leverage role, posting eight holds and a save over 21 appearances in addition to his three wins while sporting a 3.63 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 27:3 K:BB. The clean inning was his first over his last three appearances, but overall he's been a big asset for the Atlanta relief corps.
