For the second straight game, Curry managed to hit 10 threes in a winning effort against the Kings this season, and he finished with a game-high 36 points across 36 minutes in Thursday night's two-point victory. Three-point shooting ended up being the difference in Thursday's game, as while the Kings lost by just two, they held a lead for most of the game, and Golden State's sharp shooting allowed them to come back with ease. As a team, the Warriors not only made 19 three-point shots in the winning effort, nine more than Sacramento, but they shot a very impressive 41.3 percent from behind the arc while doing so. Two of the league's premier superstars went toe-to-toe in LA on Thursday, and neither former MVP disappointed. For the Lakers, LeBron James delivered a team-high 29 points and also grabbed 11 rebounds to secure the double-double. James' strong play was complemented by 27 points and 13 rebounds from Brandon Ingram, who shot 8-of-16 from the field. Kyle Kuzma tallied another 18 points. Houston, meanwhile, saw reigning MVP James Harden lead all scorers with 30 points. The strong scoring performance continued Harden's historic streak of 32 straight games of 30 or more points. It was the first time this season, though, that Harden fouled out of a game. Fellow All-Star Chris Paul also fouled out in the final minute of action after nearly recording a triple-double. Paul finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists.
