Kyrie Irving led the Celtics with 37 points on 15-of-26 shooting, seven assists, six rebounds, two blocks and a steal, in 39 minutes. Jayson Tatum followed up with 26 points on 11-of-20 shooting, four rebounds, two assists and a steal, in 39 minutes. Gordon Hayward chipped in 13 points and five rebounds, off the bench, while Al Horford totaled four points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 37 minutes.
Meanwhile, Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 23 points on 9 -of-21 shooting, eight rebounds, four steals and three assists, in 35 minutes. Thaddeus Young added 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting, six rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block, in 32 minutes. Tyreke Evans tallied 13 points, seven rebounds and one steal, in 18 minutes off the bench. Domantas Sabonis was quiet with just one point, five rebounds, five assists and two steals, in 22 minutes off the bench.
While they didn't get off to the greatest start in Wednesday's round one win over the Pistons, the Bucks' big three, in the end, came through with one of their best collective performances of the entire season. Eric Bledsoe, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton combined to score 77 of Milwaukee's 120 points Wednesday night, with Bledsoe's game-high 27 points leading the way. Antetokounmpo was close behind with 26 points of his own, while Khris Middleton added 24 points to the group. The three players also put together strong all-around performances, however, as they also combined to record 21 rebounds and dish out 18 assists on the night. They accounted for over half the team's assists Wednesday night, as the team impressively assisted on 32 of their 47 made field goals in the winning effort.
James Harden led the Rockets with 32 points on 11-of-24 shooting, 13 rebounds, 10 assists and a block, in 33 minutes. Chris Paul followed up with 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks, in 28 minutes. P.J. Tucker added 16 points, four rebounds and two steals, while Clint Capela finished with seven points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, a steal and an assist.
Meanwhile, Ricky Rubio led the Jazz with 17 points on 7-of-17 shooting, nine assists, four rebounds and four steals, in 32 minutes. Derrick Favors tallied 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting, 12 rebounds, three blocks and a steal, in 22 minutes. Rudy Gobert added 11 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and an assist, while Royce O'Neale added 17 points, four assists, two rebounds and a steal, in 27 minutes off the bench.
