Williams' quality outing off the bench wasn't enough for Dallas to avoid elimination from playoff contention. Williams spent a large portion of the 2024-25 season in the G League on a two-way deal but signed a standard, two-year contract with the Mavericks earlier in April. The 25-year-old guard averaged 8.3 points, 2.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 14.8 minutes across 33 regular-season appearances, including three starts.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Williams split 2021-22 between the NBA and the G League, where he lit it up with the Westchester Knicks to the tune of 22.6 points, 6.4 assists and 4.1 rebounds over 33.1 minutes per game early in the campaign. His effort earned him a 10-day look with Portland in late December and a two-way deal in late February. Williams took advantage of his opportunity with a banged-up Trail Blazers squad down the stretch, averaging 13.6 points, 4.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals over 28.5 minutes per contest after the All-Star break. However, he's unlikely to repeat that output this season with Portland healthier to open 2022-23, and the second-year guard may bounce between the NBA and the G League again this year. As a result, he is likely only an attractive fantasy option in the deepest of formats.
