				  Plays seven minutes off bench
Davis finished Sunday's 104-96 victory over the Raptors with three points (1-1 FG, 1-4 FT) and five rebounds in seven minutes.
				  ANALYSIS
Davis has been on the fringes of Cleveland's rotation recently, but he saw a slight uptick in playing time while generating some production on the boards Sunday. Jarrett Allen (finger/quadriceps) exited the game in the second quarter and is expected to be sidelined indefinitely, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Davis log slightly more consistent playing time in the frontcourt going forward. Each of Davis' appearances with double-digit minutes this season have come when Allen has been unavailable, and he's averaged 7.8 rebounds per game across his five outings in which he's played at least 10 minutes.

This section compares his stats with all players from the previous three seasons (minimum 200 minutes played)*. The bar represents the player's percentile rank. For example, if the bar is halfway across, then the player falls into the 50th percentile for that stat and it would be considered average.

The 10-year vet joined his sixth team when he signed with the Jazz for the 2019-20 season, and the move led to the fewest minutes of his career and career lows in points (1.8), rebounds (3.8) and combined blocks/steals (0.7). A rebounding specialist, Davis crashed the glass for Brooklyn in 2018-19, as he set a career high in rebounds with 8.6. Davis was an important part of the Nets' rotation in logging 17.9 minutes off the bench, but his playing time was nearly cut in half with the Jazz to the tune of 10.8 minutes per tilt -- behind Rudy Gobert in the frontcourt. Davis was dealt to Minnesota in the offseason, and he's likely to see similar playing time for the Timberwolves behind perennial All Star Karl-Anthony Towns and second-year big Naz Reid. Davis can probably be avoided in all but the deepest of formats as a low-volume option with limited upside.

				  Critical of Irving's comments
Davis expressed concern over the financial implications of players sitting out the resumed 2019-20 season in Orlando.
				  ANALYSIS
In an interview with HoopsHype, Davis placed the focus on non-stars who may not be in a financial position to forfeit salary -- and potential future earnings -- should they opt to sit out games once the season resumes. "It's easy for a guy like Kyrie [Irving] to say that he'll give everything back [for social reform], but would he really give everything back?" Davis asked. "It's easy for Dwight Howard to say that we don't need to play when he's in Atlanta in his $20 million mansion. But there are other guys on the rosters who need this money to provide for whoever they're taking care of and things like that. It's easy for the superstars in the league to say this and how they feel about this and that. But it means a lot more when it comes from the role players and the guys that [aren't stars]."
