The Pelicans are looking to assemble the best possible lineup to maximize the potential of Zion Williamson, and it wouldn't be out of reach to see the team drafting Maluach, out of Duke, as the long-term answer at center. Rookie Yves Missi showed glimpses of excellence as a rookie in 2024-25, but Maluach has far more potential and could be more impactful on both ends of the court.
