Aldama delivered good performances for Spain during the 2024 Olympics and is coming off a career-best season in the 2023-24 NBA campaign. He was one of the few standout players on a Memphis roster that was severely depleted by injuries throughout the campaign. Aldama started a career-high 35 games across his 61 regular-season appearances and posted averages of 10.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.9 blocks per game, each being a career-high mark for the Spaniard. The Grizzlies could certainly give him an extension, as he seems like a good enough player to keep on the roster for years to come, especially given he'll be 24 by the time the 2025-26 season starts.
