Can you bet on sports if you are under 18 years old?

No. You cannot legally bet anywhere unless you are at least 18 years old. Each state determines its own age requirement and there are some states with different age levels, depending on the location.

In terms of sports betting, all but four states require residents to be at least 21 years old in order to take part, those being Montana, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Washington where the age limit is 18 and over.

As for gambling in general, some states may have an age limit of 18, but at casinos that sell liquor, you have to be at least 21 years old.
