Missed opportunities at LIV Dallas
June 29, 2025
DeChambeau finished tied with Cameron Tringale for ninth at LIV Golf Dallas with a cumulative score of four-under.
ANALYSIS
While most of the field struggled on Championship Sunday, DeChambeau -- who went even through the first two rounds -- carded three consecutive birdies to start the final round. He was four-under through 10 holes and was looking to be in serious contention for a victory in his home state, but he bogeyed the par-4 16th and wasn't able to convert on birdie opportunities down the stretch. DeChambeau has finished in the top-10 in seven of nine LIV Golf tournaments this season, and his Crushers GC squad -- who won by 11 strokes over 4Aces GC -- has overtaken Jon Rahm's Legion XIII at the top of the team standings. DeChambeau is in the field for LIV Golf Andalucia, which will serve as a tune-up event for the Open Championship on July 17.
