Cracks top-25 in Houston
English carded a three-under 67 in the final round of the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish tied for 21st.
ANALYSIS
English went one-over in the first round but proceeded to score 66-68-67 across the final three days of the tournament. He ranked 12th in the field in scrambling, 18th in SG: Putting and in the top-30 in sand saves, driving accuracy and SG: Approach, though he ranked 50th or worse in SG: Off-the-Tee, driving distance and SG: Around-the-Green. English has been incredibly consistent through the first two months of the 2026 Tour season, finishing between T21 and T28 in seven of eight tournaments, with his MC at THE PLAYERS Championship being the exception. He won't participate at the Valero Texas Open next week, and the next time he will tee off is at The Masters starting April 9. English has made the cut in each of his last five outings at Augusta National, with his T12 in 2025 being his best finish at the major.
