Echavarria made the cut on the number at Bay Hill after following up his win at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches with a shaky 72-74 stretch during the first two rounds of the API. He ultimately finished the Signature Event ranked third among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and 10th in putts per GIR en route to 17 total birdies, but he lost 5.78 strokes around the green while converting just nine of 25 scrambling opportunities. Echavarria drops two spots to eighth in the early FedExCup standings ahead of THE PLAYERS Championship.
