Purdy won the pole for the Love's RV Stop 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 179.433 mph.
The young driver of the No. 4 KBM Chevy truck put down a great flying lap of the 2.66-mile oval. Purdy beat out Nick Sanchez
