Signs with Serbian team

Petrusev agreed to a contract Monday with Serbian club Mega Bemax, officially closing the door on a return to Gonzaga for his final two years of eligibility, Eurohoops.net reports.
ANALYSIS
Petrusev declared for the 2020 NBA Draft in late April while keeping the option open to return to Gonzaga in 2020-21. With the upcoming college basketball season in serious question due to the coronavirus pandemic, Petrusev determined that it was in his best interest to forgo his remaining two years of eligibility to enter the professional ranks. It's unclear whether Petrusev still intends to keep himself eligible for the draft, but in any case, his departure represents a huge loss for the Bulldogs. He averaged 17.5 points and 7.9 rebounds per game as a sophomore en route to taking home WCC Player of the Year honors.
