Feels healthy again

Bosmans-Verdonk (lower leg), who didn't appear in Illinois' final 20 games of the 2019-20 season, is healthy heading into the 2020-21 campaign, Derek Piper of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Brad Underwood recently disclosed that the unspecified lower-leg issue that sidelined Bosmans-Verdonk for the final three months of the season was a stress fracture in his foot. The big man was confined to a walking boot as a result, but he's since been able to work out and has already trimmed 15 pounds from his listed 245-pound frame, according to Underwood. Now that he's healthy again, Bosmans-Verdonk will vie for a more consistent spot in the rotation during his sophomore season after averaging only 6.4 minutes per game across nine appearances in 2019-20.
