Brandon Clarke
Brandon Clarke
Stays in draft, as expected
May 28, 2019
Clarke will remain in the 2019 NBA Draft, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
There was never much question about Clarke's decision here, as he is a consensus first-round pick that continued to improve his stock in the NCAA Tournament. Through four games in the Big Dance, Clarke registered 20.3 points and 10.0 rebounds. Standing at 6-8, he might be a bit undersized for a post player at the next level, and he only made four three-pointers during his junior season. Those limitations aside, he rebounds and blocks shots like a man of much larger stature, which should allow him to work his way into NBA rotations.
