Wisconsin has always been ahead of its time in terms of recruiting big men who can shoot the three-pointer, and Rapp appears to be an extension of that tradition. The 6-10 power forward and reigning WCC Freshman of the Year appears to have immediately gained a starting role with the Badgers, in addition to serving as an instant offensive contributor. He was second on the team in minutes played in this exhibition and third in overall scoring, plus was the only starter to cash multiple three-pointers. With the Badger offense seemingly picking up its tempo -- if 2024-25 is any indicator of a trend -- Wisconsin could be home to multiple valuable nationwide assets in the upcoming campaign, with Rapp being one.
