Stays put at WVU
Kriisa is set to exit the transfer portal and return to West Virginia, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Kriisa opted to return to West Virginia after entering the portal earlier this week. The decision was initially made following the departure of head coach Bob Huggins, but Kriisa will opt to stick with the program and its eventual coaching successor. Kriisa still projects as the team's primary point guard option, and despite a shift in scenery, can likely still be counted on to approach a double-digit scoring average and contend for the team lead in assists in 2023-24.
