Brea committed to Kentucky on Wednesday, per Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Brea selected Kentucky over a list of blue bloods that also included Duke, Kansas, North Carolina and defending national champions Connecticut. Despite often serving as a reserve for Dayton's 2023-24 team, he averaged 11.1 points across his 33 games (four started) for it. It is not about how much Brea scored overall but how much he excelled as a three-point shooter. The sharpshooter averaged 3.0 three-pointers made on a 49.8 three-point percentage across his redshirt junior season.
