Hendricks said Wednesday that he'll forgo his remaining collegiate eligibility at UCF to enter the 2023 NBA Draft, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A second-team all-American Athletic Conference selection this past season, Hendricks is UCF's top NBA prospect since 7-foot-6 center Tacko Fall patrolled the paint for the Golden Knights from 2015 through 2019. He excelled right out of the gate as a true freshman and finished his lone season in Orlando with averages of 15.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.8 three-pointers, 1.7 blocks, 1.4 assists and 0.9 steals in 34.7 minutes per game over his 34 appearances. The 6-foot-9, 210-pound forward has a good chance at hearing his name called in the first round of the draft.
