ANALYSIS
Pierce was slated to be a rotational member of Missouri's front court this season after a sophomore year in which he averaged 6.7 points and 3.2 rebounds across 33 games with 19 starts. He won't get a chance to take the court in the opener, however, as he's dealing with a previously un-reported lower body ailment. He'll look to return in time for the Tigers' second game against Southeast Missouri State on Friday.
