Smith brought in both targets for 55 yards and returned three kickoffs for 124 yards during the Elks' 31-14 loss to the Lions in Week 1.
ANALYSIS
Smith had some impressive moments as a CFL rookie in 2024 following a 1,400-yard season at Division II Central Missouri in his final college season, and it appears he might be due for a nice bump up in 2025. The speedster showed off the jets on a 64-yard kickoff return, and he also posted a team-high 50-yard reception. Smith's upside should keep him popular in all fantasy formats as he continues to build rapport with QB Tre Ford, and the duo will have some additional practice time before a Week 3 Thursday night matchup against the Alouettes following a Week 2 bye.
