Dylan Lonergan News: Excellent in opener

Lonergan was 26-for-34 passing for 268 yards and four touchdowns during Saturday's 66-10 victory versus Fordham.

It was just Fordham, but Lonergan's debut as the Boston College signal-caller went just about as smoothly as any Eagle supporter could've hoped. The former Alabama quarterback was lethally efficient, completing 76 percent of his passes, and he threw for the first four touchdowns of his career while averaging 7.9 yards-per-attempt. Things get tougher on the road against Michigan State in Week 2.
