Garrett Oakley News: Five catches in season opener
Oakley hauled in all five targets for 62 yards during Saturday's 24-21 loss versus Iowa State.
Oakley's five catches were a career high as Kansas State was forced into throwing the ball for a multitude of reasons. They lost their superstar running back Dylan Edwards early and they were fighting from behind most of the game as well. Avery Johnson had an impressive day through the air in the second half, so it will be interesting to see what this offense can do in better conditions as it rained a lot in Dublin, Ireland. Kansas State will play North Dakota next week.
