MJ Morris News: Will take first snaps, split time

Morris will take the first snaps at quarterback for Costal Carolina in Week 1, but Tad Hudson and Samari Collier will also see time, per Brandon Dunn of ABC 15 Florence.

The Chanticleer's quarterback competition will apparently bleed into the opener. Morris appears to have the edge as he'll take the first snaps, but the Coastal Carolina staff clearly isn't 100 percent sold on him as their starting gunslinger quite yet. With Hudson and Collier also set to see action against Virginia, the battle for QB1 in Conway is still very much active.
