Entering NFL Draft
January 15, 2020
Higgins announced via Twitter that he will enter the 2020 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
This is not really a huge surprise, as Higgins is likely to be one of the top receivers to go off the board at this upcoming NFL Draft. Higgins was a part of three College Football Playoff Appearances and one National Title at Clemson. The 6-4 speedster has notched 26 touchdowns the last two seasons. Justyn Ross is poised for a huge year next season as he will hope to fill most of the production left by Higgins.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2019
2018
For as much as Justyn Ross understandably draws attention, it'd be unwise to overlook Higgins, who possesses his own array of highly positive indicators. Higgins has checked the boxes each step of the way since arriving to Clemson as a five-star recruit, and through his age-19 season he owns 76 catches for 1,281 yards and 14 touchdowns on just 121 targets (63.8 percent completed, 10.6 YPT). He and Ross will need to share the spotlight, but Trevor Lawrence could throw 40 touchdowns this year, so both wideouts should feast. If healthy, Higgins basically can't fail.
On a team loaded with blue chip talent, Higgins stands above the rest -- at least in the receiving corps. Higgins (6-4, 200) showed immense promise last year with 17 grabs for 345 yards (20.3 YPR) and two TDs, and while much of that production came against Citadel, it must be noted he was behind vets Deon Cain and Ray-Ray McCloud. Now that those two are gone, Higgins will step into a starting role in an offense run by a talented quarterback whether it's Kelly Bryant or Trevor Lawrence. Hunter Renfrow is still in the fold, but Higgins is WR1.
