Returning for senior year
Thompson-Robinson (knee) announced Monday that he'll return to UCLA for his senior season in 2021, Tracy Pierson of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Thompson-Robinson had been considering leaving school early for the 2021 NFL Draft, but the right knee injury he suffered Saturday in UCLA's 48-47 loss to Stanford may have influenced his decision to stay in Westwood for another year. Assuming his recovery doesn't extend into the fall, Thompson-Robinson should enter 2021 as one of the top quarterbacks in the Pac-12 coming off a strong junior season. Over his five appearances, Thompson-Robinson completed a career-high 65.2 percent of his attempts for 1,120 yards, 12 touchdowns and four interceptions while rushing for 306 yards and three scores.
