Played through separated shoulder
Shoulder
January 3, 2021
Tuttle completed 26 of 45 passes for 201 yards and an interception in Saturday's 26-20 loss to Ole Miss in the Outback Bowl.
ANALYSIS
Tuttle went back to the locker room in the second quarter to get his shoulder looked at but returned out of the half to lead the offense for the remainder of the game. Head coach Tom Allen revealed after the game that Tuttle played through a separated shoulder and that it definitely had an effect on his performance. Tuttle finishes the season completing 44 of 72 passes for 362 yards and a 2:1 TD:INT after coming in late in the season to relieve Michael Penix who suffered a torn ACL. The Hoosiers have the potential to return all their key skill players on offense and should pose as a threat to compete for a Big Ten Championship next year.
