Coming back for 2021
January 8, 2021
Fryfogle announced Friday via his personal Twitter account that he will return to Indiana for a fifth year of eligibility in 2021.
ANALYSIS
As a fourth-year senior this past season, Fryfogle broke out with 37 receptions for 721 yards and seven touchdowns over eight games, earning Big Ten Wide Receiver of the Year honors. He'll take advantage of the NCAA's newly instituted rule that grants all players an extra year of eligibility to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the 2020 campaign. Indiana is still waiting on a draft decision from fellow star wideout Whop Philyor, but if Philyor opts to leave school, Fryfogle could draw an even larger volume of targets in 2021.
