Grant Wilson

Wilson joined his offensive coordinator Kevin Decker in moving up from Fordham to Old Dominion. While Wilson didn’t play much for Fordham, he hoped to compete with Hayden Wolff for the starting gig, relying on his familiarity with the new offense. It turned out to be a shrewd move for Wilson, as Wolff is now at Western Michigan, and the transfer seems to be the guy for the Monarchs. Of course, clearly there are a lot of unknowns here. Again, Wilson was not the starting guy for Fordham or anything. This will be his first real action at the collegiate level. Could he and Decker combine to do big things? Sure, but they could also flop. Or, perhaps, Decker’s offense will translate, but Wilson will prove to not be the guy. There is a lot of mystery here, probably too much for fantasy players to take the plunge. At the very least, take a wait-and-see approach with Wilson.
