Headed for draft
December 17, 2020
Imatorbhebhe announced Thursday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Illinois to enter the 2021 NFL Draft, Jeremy Werner of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Imatorbhebhe found his own following his transfer from USC to Illinois, compiling 55 receptions for 941 yards and 12 touchdowns over his two years with the Illini despite somewhat erratic quarterback play. Rather than sticking around in Champaign for his sixth and final year of eligibility, Imatorbhebhe will make the jump to the next level, where he likely projects as an undrafted free agent.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
While Imatorbhebhe’s season may look fairly average overall, the efficiency with which the junior found the end zone in 2019 is quite astounding. Of players to score nine or more touchdowns in 2019, only one reached the threshold on fewer receptions (Jyaire Shorter of North Texas scored nine on 24 grabs). When the receivers get whittled down to just those in power-five conferences, the junior’s 27.2 touchdown rate on receptions ranks second to just Terrance Marshall of LSU, who notched 13 on 46 receptions (28.2 percent) with 2020 first-overall pick Joe Burrow at the helm. This sheds some light on just how efficient Imatorbhebhe’s 33 grabs for 634 yards and nine touchdowns truly was. Imatorbhebhe also missed a pair of games to close out the season due to injury, robbing him of an opportunity to reach the double-digit threshold. What’s more, two of Imatorbhebhe’s zero-touchdown games coincided with returning starting quarterback Brandon Peters either missing most of the game or sitting out completely, so the senior wideout could have a big season in store if both can stay healthy.
