It's a new day for the Mean Green passing game. The top three receivers from 2024 are gone. That leaves Coleman as the top returning receiver. He had 36 catches for 378 yards and two touchdowns a year ago. Again, though, he was the fourth option in the passing game. Dynamic quarterback Chandler Morris, who threw for 3,774 yards and 31 touchdowns, is now with Virginia, which might dampen expectations a little bit, but the Mean Green should remain a formidable passing attack with either Drew Mestemaker or Miami transfer Reese Poffenbarger at the helm. Mestemaker got the start in the bowl game last year and threw the ball 41 times for 393 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks. Coleman also received the starting nod in the slot in that game, with DT Sheffield sitting it out and entering the transfer portal, and he didn't disappoint, racking six catches for 104 yards and a score. He's undersized at 5-foot-6, 159 pounds, but Coleman is expected to make the starting slot job his this fall, and he could have a big season in store. Back at practice
Coleman (undisclosed) returned to practice for North Texas ahead of Week 10 against Navy, per Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle.
				  ANALYSIS
Coleman missed Week 8 against UTSA while battling his undisclosed injury, but the wideout looks primed to return for a big clash with Navy. Coleman has 30 grabs for 320 yards and a score this season as one of the top targets in the Mean Green passing attack.
