2025 Fantasy Outlook

Smith drew ample buzz leading up to his true freshman campaign, and he certainly didn't disappoint, delivering 76 catches for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns over 16 games en route to a national title. In regards to his regular season, he averaged 4.8 grabs for 77.8 yards and totaled 10 touchdowns over 12 games, certainly keeping his name among the top of the CFF ranks. Gone from last season is starting quarterback Will Howard, but so are star wideout Emeka Egbuka and running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins. Carnell Tate is undoubtedly a talented wideout taking over as the No. 2 in the pecking order, Smith is the clear alpha of this room, and roster turnover abounds elsewhere, so an uptick in Smith's target share and production seems a probable outcome despite some inexperienced under center, where freshman Julian Sayin appears the likely candidate to take the reins. While there is also a change at offensive coordinator, with Brian Hartline set to take over there, Hartline comes from a wide receiver background and was a co-offensive coordinator last season, so the scheme should remain similar.

2) Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

2025 Fantasy Projection

PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
22718.9121196821120

2025 Fantasy Outlook

While Tyson missed the most important portion of the 2025 season from a real football standpoint, sitting out the Big 12 Championship Game and the College Football Playoff after suffering a collarbone injury in the regular-season finale, he delivered during the fantasy portion of the campaign, racking up career-best marks with 75 grabs for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns over the 12 regula-rseason contests, including three-straight 100-yard receiving efforts in the final three contests of 2025. Tyson was healthy for spring ball, so there should be minimal concern regarding his status heading into the regular season. Sam Leavitt returns under center for the Sun Devils, setting up the passing attack to be one of the more prominent in the college game again this season, and Tyson easily sits atop the pecking order for targets. Notably leaving the mix is Cam Skattebo, who heads to the NFL after finishing second on the team in targets last season, so there's a chance Tyson could surpass his marks from a season ago, especially given how heavily he was utilized down the stretch.

3) Ryan Williams, Alabama

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
22318.51211526511281

2025 Fantasy Outlook

One of the more highly-regarded wideouts in the 2024 crop of freshman receivers, Williams didn't disappoint in his first season with the Tide. He's a true vertical threat and was consistently used as such, hauling in eight passes 20 or more yards down the field that went for a combined 434 yards and five touchdowns, accounting for more than half of his total yardage (865) and touchdowns (eight) on the season. Williams did have seven drops on the season, including three of them on deep balls, but he also was only able to link up with Jalen Milroe on 32.0 percent of his deep targets and 45.8 percent of his targets between 10 and 19 yards. Milroe has departed for the NFL, and it's a new era in the Alabama regime, with a more traditional quarterback expected to be under center, likely in the form of Ty Simpson, who was the frontrunner for the job after spring practice. Simpson should represent and upgrade at the starting quarterback position from a passing standpoint, which should help Williams best his numbers from a season ago by a sizable margin in an offense that should inch closer to the form we saw in the late days of Kalen Deboer's tenure with Michael Penix under center and Rome Odunze and Jalen McMillan putting up big numbers out wide.

4) Easton Messer, Florida Atlantic

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Messer closed out his 2024 season with his best career campaign to date, racking up 55 grabs for 793 yards and four touchdowns with Western Kentucky. While he never officially played under Zach Kittley, Kittley may have had a hand in recruiting Messer to WKU before leaving for the Texas Tech offensive coordinator gig before the 2022 campaign. The pair will unite in Boca Raton this fall as part of an offense that should remain similar to what the Hilltoppers ran in 2021, when Bailey Zappe threw the rock a whopping 687 times over 14 games. Caden Veltkamp, who also joined the Owls this offseason via the transfer portal from WKU, is set to claim the starting job under center. Messer's familiarity with Veltcamp should pay dividends, and Messer is expected to be the top target in that offense, making him a highly attractive fantasy option for the 2025 campaign. The primary question surrounds how many times Messer can reach pay dirt, but he should surpass last season's marks by a significant margin and could be an elite fantasy prospect in this offense.

5) Cam Coleman, Auburn

2025 Fantasy Projection

PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
18515.412916541100

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Coleman's true freshman campaign in 2024 started out slowly, amassing just 10 catches for 259 yards and two touchdowns through the first seven games of the season (he saw the field in six of those). However, the highly-touted prospect had his coming out party in Week 12 against Louisiana-Monroe in Week 12, totaling eight catches for 100 yards and three touchdowns, and followed that up with another seven catches for 12 yards and two scores against Texas A&M in Week 13 and another seven grabs for 78 yards and a score in the Iron Bowl versus Alabama to close out the season, emerging as a star. Payton Thorne played reasonably well under center last season, but he wasn't regarded as a particularly strong passer. Well, he's gone, and in comes Jackson Arnold, who was seemingly on his way for a good season in 2024 before things went south for him and the Sooners. Time will tell if it's indeed an upgrade in the passing game, but it could be. Coleman should remain the go-to target in the offense, especially with KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Rivaldo Fairweather, the two other top targets in the passing attack last season, gone. The Tigers did add Eric Singleton from Georgia Tech via the transfer portal, but Coleman has the makings of a budding star who should cross double-digit touchdowns in 2025 and could rank among the best wideouts.

6) Antonio Williams, Clemson

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
18315.3128557010290

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Williams has the good fortune of catching footballs from quarterback Cade Klubnik, one of the better passers in the college game. Williams is also coming off a career year last fall, reeling in 75 catches for 905 yards and 11 touchdowns. He's one of Klubnik's favorite targets, and the pair's chemistry should only grow with another offseason together. What's more, this is one of the most talented receiving groups in the nation, with T.J. Moore and Bryant Wesco also in the fold at wideout. Teams won't be able to focus solely on Williams, which means he could be in for his biggest season yet. It's also worth noting that Williams logged 101 yards rushing and a touchdown on seven carries last season — the Tigers get him the ball any way they can. Ultimately, Williams is a skilled receiver on an offense stacked with talent and led by one of the top quarterbacks in the nation. The upside appears tremendous here.

7) Junior Vandeross, Toledo

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
17814.81292675800

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Vandeross is heading into the 2025 season as the Rockets' top pass catcher, with a lot of room for growth. Vandeross was first in catches (85), second in receiving yards (957) and third in receiving touchdowns (five) in the 2024 campaign. This was still very dominant for a junior coming off a mild sophomore season. However, this year, he's the only pass catcher left who was top three in any of those categories, which should prime him for a potential increase across the board, or to stay afloat at the very least. Vandeross didn't find pay dirt consistently, but wide receiver Jerjuan Newton (11 touchdowns) and tight end Anthony Torres (nine touchdowns) have both moved on to the NFL, which could pave the way for Vandeross to do so a few more times in 2025. That said, his 5-foot-8, 182-pound stature doesn't lend itself to being a sizable red-zone threat. Quarterback Tucker Gleason will be back for his fifth collegiate season, and the pair has already established a connection on the field. Everything is trending up for Vandeross to potentially post his best season to date in his final collegiate go-around.

8) Pofele Ashlock, Hawaii

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
17714.81292374800

2025 Fantasy Outlook

After a breakout freshman campaign where he logged 83 receptions (fourth-most in the Mountain West) for 832 yards, Ashlock had a disappointing sophomore season, totaling just 61 receptions for 629 yards while falling behind Nick Cenacle on the depth chart. However, Ashlock is a prime bounce-back candidate as a junior in 2025 as one of the top options in Hawaii's air-raid offense. He's already shown some chemistry with new starting quarterback Micah Alejado in the Warriors' season finale against New Mexico, tallying eight receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. While Cenacle is also returning this season, there should be more than enough chances for both wideouts to succeed. Under coach Timmy Chang, Hawaii threw the ball on 60.5 percent of their plays last season, and they shouldn't veer from that approach in 2025.

9) Eric McAlister, TCU

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
17714.7121051567150

2025 Fantasy Outlook

McAlister returns for his senior season as quarterback Josh Hoover's top target and TCU's most consistent deep threat receiver. He racked up 762 yards and five touchdowns on 39 receptions during the 2024 campaign. McAlister and Hoover are expected to be one of the most lethal combinations in the Big 12 Conference this coming year after the team lost key receivers Savion Williams, Jack Bech, and JP Richardson this offseason. The staff looked to the portal to add to the wideout depth, welcoming in Jordan Dwyer (Idaho transfer) and Joseph Manjack (Houston transfer). With Hoover working on chemistry with his new receivers, it should set up McAlister for a fast start to the year, as well as a big season overall. McAlister excels at route-running and has a catch radius that pairs well with Hoover's gunslinger mentality.

10) David Amador, UTSA

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
17314.4128056871091

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Amador missed most of last season due to injury, essentially playing in just UTSA's last four games. In those four games, he posted 30 catches for 370 yards and a touchdown. Amador had at least seven catches in every game, and he went over 100 yards once in that span. So yeah, once he got healthy, Amador was driving the UTSA passing game. He's a versatile player who moves around the field a lot, including some rushing upside. Owen McCown will be the Roadrunners' starting quarterback again. Clearly, he liked throwing the ball to Amador last year when he was on the field. Nobody significant joined the wide receiver depth chart this offseason, and this figures to be one of the most explosive offenses in FBS. It's unlikely that Amador averages seven catches per game in 2025, but he's shown what he can do when healthy, and McCown made getting him the ball a priority down the stretch.

11) Ted Hurst, Georgia State

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
17214.41289957900

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Hurst fell just shy of the 1,000-yard and 10-touchdown milestones in 2024, finishing the campaign with 961 receiving yards and nine touchdowns across 12 games. After briefly entering the transfer portal this offseason, he opted to return to Georgia State for his senior season. He'll be the clear top option for the Panthers and their starting quarterback -- a battle expected to resolve during fall camp -- again in 2025. The biggest question regarding Hurst's fantasy value is if there will be any significant changes in offensive philosophy now that Hue Jackson is the team's offensive coordinator. However, it looks like there's only room for growth in that department, as Georgia State finished with the fourth-fewest yards of total offense in the Sun Belt last season. Hurst won't need an explosive offense to be productive, but if the unit can take a significant step forward, he could be in for an even bigger 2025 campaign.

12) Corey Rucker, Arkansas State

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
16413.61297161600

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Rucker formed an impressive 1-2 punch with Courtney Jackson back in 2023, but he separated himself in a big way last season. Rucker snared 69 passes for 1,053 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games for the Red Wolves, while Jackson finished with fewer than 500 yards. Jackson has since graduated, leaving Rucker as the clear alpha for an offense that returns starting quarterback Jaylen Raynor. Rucker cleared 170 receiving yards in three games last season, but he also finished with less than 40 yards on five occasions. Considering his built-in chemistry with Raynor, who's entering his third season as a starter, Rucker is a threat to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards again in 2025.

13) Elijah Sarratt, Indiana

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
15813.21290851700

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Sarratt performed admirably in 2024 while making the transition from James Madison to the Big Ten level, playing a key role in the Hoosiers' surprise breakout season. Despite the talent gap when moving to the Big Ten, Sarratt's production barely dropped off; the talented receiver caught 53 passes for 957 yards and eight touchdowns while serving as the top target for quarterback Kurtis Rourke. With fresh faces all around on offense, including quarterback Fernando Mendoza, Sarratt appears set to serve as a reliable target once again, aiming to aid the Hoosiers in their pursuit to repeat their success from last year.

14) Chase Sowell, Iowa State

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
156131289062600

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Sowell transfers from East Carolina to be the Cyclones' potential top target after the departures of Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel to the NFL. The junior receiver can do a little bit of everything and should allow for QB Rocco Becht to simultaneously stretch the field and work underneath. Sowell racked up 34 catches for 678 yards and three touchdowns on 60 targets on a much less talented offense in 2024. Sowell is joined by fellow transfer Xavier Townsend, who comes over from UCF and is slated to take over the slot role from Noel, while Sowell will aim to reprise Higgins' role in the offense from last season. While Becht builds new chemistry with his receivers, Iowa State is expected to utilize a balanced approach with running back Carson Hansen, who has a nose for the end zone. Hansen racked up 15 total touchdowns during the 2024 season, which will help keep defenses honest against Iowa State's passing attack. Sowell's deep-play ability makes him the most likely target to emerge as the top receiving threat for the Cyclones in 2025.

15) Cayden Lee, Mississippi

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
1561312980624280

2025 Fantasy Outlook

After hauling in 57 passes for 874 yards and two touchdowns a year ago, Lee will enter the 2025 season as the leading returning receiver for the Rebels. The Rebels' receiving room was led by Tre Harris a year ago, who is a much different receiver than Lee. Harris is 6'3" with good speed and precise route running. Meanwhile, Lee is 5'11" and more of a speed possession receiver. Lee may fit more into the role that Jordan Watkins held last year, who has also moved on to the NFL and has a similar build and skillset as Lee, as they are both 5'11" speedsters. The Rebels have brought in several wideouts through the transfer portal, including former Oklahoma State number one wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling. Stribling may be the better fit to be the top option out wide, as he is the bigger of the two at 6'2" and is more built for it than Lee. However, Lee is likely to see a lot of volume in Lane Kiffin's high-powered offense and could see an uptick in his touchdown numbers, as he will likely step into a similar role as Watkins, who led the Rebels in touchdowns a year ago with nine.

16) Nick Cenacle, Hawaii

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
15512.91278968700

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Cenacle broke out in 2024, leading Hawaii with 721 yards and six touchdowns on 63 receptions. The senior from Montreal looks poised for another big year in 2025. Cencale displayed an early connection with new starting quarterback Micah Alejado, catching passes for 93 yards and a touchdown in Alejado's lone start to close out the campaign. While he'll face target competition from returning junior Pofele Ashlock and Stanford transfer Jackson Harris, Cencale has already proven himself as a big-play threat in an offense that threw the ball 60.5 percent of the time last year, and there's little reason to anticipate a significant drop in his production heading into his final collegiate campaign.

17) Danny Scudero, San Jose State

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
15512.91279367700

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Scudero is an under-the-radar name to keep an eye on in 2025. Making his debut in the FCS ranks, the 5-foot-9 Scudero is poised to take on a big role in a Spartans' offense that lost Nick Nash, who ranked second in the nation in both yards and receptions out of the slot last year, and Justin Lockhart. Scudero spent two seasons with Sacramento State, logging 53 receptions for 667 yards and five touchdowns in 2024. He'll join an offense, led by second-year coach Ken Niumatalolo and quarterback Walker Eget, that threw the ball on an NCAA-leading 64.4 percent of their plays last season. Scudero will look to distinguish himself amongst a largely unproven receiving room, joining a pair of FBS transfers in Leland Smith and Malachi Riley. While it's unlikely anyone in the room matches Nash's massive output from 2025, Scudero seems among the favorites to headline the production as the top receiver in the slot in 2025, though holdover Matthew Coleman is also expected to factor into the reps on the inside.

18) Denzel Boston, Washington

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
15412.81273952900

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Boston came into his own in 2024 after limited production during his first two years with the Huskies. The 6-4 wideout will likely depart for the NFL next season, but he'll be the featured wide receiver in Jedd Fisch's offense for 2025. Demond Williams is projected to begin the season under center, and Boston provides a dependable target as the quarterback develops. Boston logged 63 receptions for 824 yards and nine touchdowns last season, and he's projected to replicate and possibly exceed those numbers in his junior year. It all depends on how Williams progresses, but he's a force to be reckoned with in an offense that could take another step forward with a softer schedule in 2025.

19) Deion Burks, Oklahoma

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
15312.712800775430

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Burks will run it back with the Sooners for his fifth collegiate season after having his 2024 campaign cut short due to a concussion. In five appearances, he racked up 31 catches for 245 yards and three scores, and he was on track to build on an impressive 2023 season with Purdue, when he caught 47 passes for 629 yards and seven touchdowns. Given his past production, Burks looks like the de facto number one wideout for John Mateer's first season under center with Oklahoma. Mateer threw for 3,139 yards and 29 touchdowns last season with Washington State, where he played under new Oklahoma offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle. If Burks can stay healthy, he should be in line for a monster 2025 season.

20) Aaron Anderson, LSU

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
15112.61289763500

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Anderson led all LSU receivers a year ago with 61 catches and 884 yards. Since then, LSU has lost its next three top options in Kyren Lacy, Mason Taylor and CJ Daniels. The Tigers have tried to fill the loss of production by bringing in transfers Nic Anderson and Barion Brown. (Nic) Anderson missed almost all of the 2024 season due to injury but put up over 700 yards in 2023. Brown, on the other hand, has shown flashes of talent; however, his best season was in 2022, when he put up 629 yards receiving. Chris Hilton Jr. also displayed some promise prior to the 2024 campaign and figures to be a factor in 2025 if he can stay healthy, and Zavion Thomas also returns and will take aim at a larger role. With lots of unknowns in the receiver group, Anderson is the one known commodity, and he seems poised to get a lot of volume in a pass-heavy offense led by Garrett Nussmeier, who is projected to be one of the best quarterbacks in college football.

21) Makai Lemon, USC

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
15012.51289861500

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Lemon had a breakout season in 2024, and late-season surges against Notre Dame (9-133) and Texas A&M (6-99) cemented him as USC's top wideout, leading the team in yardage (764) and receptions (52). Lemon's ascension was somewhat of a surprise considering the logjam of talent available in the wide receiver room last season, but key departures from Zachariah Branch and Duce Robinson will guarantee Lemon and Ja'Kobi Lane as Jayden Maiava's top targets. Lemon has drawn comparisons to Amon-Ra St. Brown, a former Trojan receiver who's had tremendous success in the NFL. At 5-11, Lemon has strong YAC numbers and uses speed and precise route running to give passers an open gap. Thanks to Lincoln Riley's dynamic playbook, Lemon could rise near the top of the Big Ten receiver rankings and boost Maiva's stock in the process.

22) Carnell Tate, Ohio State

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
15012.51284759600

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Although freshman dynamo Jeremiah Smith stole most of the hype in the wideout room last season, Tate quietly built up a great result as the team carved a path to the CFP Championship. The 6-3 junior racked up 52 receptions for 733 yards and four touchdowns, and came up big in the CFP semifinal against Texas with seven catches for 87 yards. Boston is a nice complement to Smith, who has a speedy breakout style. Tate is more of a possession receiver who will rack up excellent numbers in PPR leagues. Emeka Egbuka was the top wideout in that sort of role last season, and his departure signals a significant uptick in targets for Boston, who may get less attention if Smith is double-teamed more often.

23) Eugene Wilson, Florida

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14912.412824576190

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Entering his junior season, Wilson has 804 receiving yards and seven touchdowns despite playing in just four games last season. In those four games, Wilson showed flashes of brilliance, averaging 14.0 yards per reception en route to 19 catches for 266 yards and a score. He was expected to be the team's lead wideout last year before the injury, and with the team's top two receivers from a year ago, Elijah Badger and Chimere Dike, moving on, Wilson should be poised to truly claim that role in 2025. Assuming he can stay healthy, Wilson should have a big season with phenom quarterback DJ Lagway at the helm of the offense.

24) Leland Smith, San Jose State

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14912.41290856500

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Smith joined San Jose State after a quiet tenure at Purdue – he logged just six receptions for 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns last year. However,  the 6-foot-4 wideout did display some big-play potential, hauling in a 47-yard touchdown in the Boilermakers' opener against Indiana State. Smith, a former three-star recruit out of Houston, should immediately see a major role increase in a wide-open Spartans' receiving room, following the departures of top wideout Nick Nash, who ranked second in the nation in both yards and receptions in 2024, and Justin Lockhart. Smith will have ample opportunity to produce as a downfield threat in an offense, led by second-year starter Walker Eget, that threw the ball 64.4 percent of the time last season, the highest rate in the FBS. Smith's primary competition for targets figures to come from Danny Scudero and Malachi Riley, both of whom joined the program as transfers this season as well, along with Matthew Coleman, but the run-and-shoot variant of offense implemented, similar to Hawaii, is highly capable of supporting multiple fantasy-relevant wideouts, and there isn't a receiver on the roster expected to replicate Nash's 100-catch season from 2025, making multiple fantasy-relevant wideouts even more plausible.

25) Caullin Lacy, Louisville

2025 Fantasy Projection

PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14812.312831615420

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Lacy transferred to Louisville ahead of the 2024 season after putting up big numbers with South Alabama. However, he dealt with a collarbone issue and only posted 18 catches for 196 yards and a touchdown, along with 21 rushing yards and a score in that department, before opting to shut his season down and take a redshirt year. Now, he returns for his redshirt senior season as a projected top pass-catcher for the Cardinals. Head coach Jeff Brohm won 10 games in his first year and reached the ACC title game, helping Louisville attract national attention and reel in some nationally sought-after transfers, including quarterback Miller Moss, who lost his starting gig at USC to Jayden Maiava down the stretch in 2024, but he should be an excellent replacement for Tyler Shough and a great fit for Brohm's scheme. The offense also loses three of its top four receivers, meaning Lacy should have every opportunity to become a target hog in this system. Essentially, the stars have aligned for Lacy to have his Power Four breakout year at Louisville this fall.

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14712.31285550650

2025 Fantasy Outlook

As a freshman, Smith was largely absent from the game plan for much of the season due to the talent the Pirates possessed at the wide receiver position, slotting in behind Chase Sowell, Anthony Smith and Winston Wright on the depth chart. All in all, he finished with 25 catches for 434 yards and three touchdowns. However, we said "much" of the season, because things changed a bit down the stretch. Over the last four games of the campaign, Smith hauled in 17 passes for 296 yards and two touchdowns on the heels of Sowell's injury. It was an encouraging way for a freshman receiver to end the year, and Sowell and Wright departed the program via the portal and graduation this offseason. One would assume Smith is in line for a bigger role in 2025 as a result. The Smith duo should post sizable numbers in the offense in 2025, and Yannick is a downfield threat who should have significant weekly upside, especially with another offseason to work with returning quarterback Katin Houser.

27) Devin McCuin, UTSA

2025 Fantasy Projection

2025 Fantasy Outlook

In 2023, McCuin had 42 catches for 546 yards and three touchdowns. Last season, he had 45 catches for 424 yards and five touchdowns. In a vacuum, that feels like a lateral move, but McCuin only played in eight games due to injury. Now, to flip it around again, he opened the season with 11 catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns against Kennesaw State in its first game as an FBS team. He also had 43 yards and a touchdown against FCS school Houston Christian. There weren't really any "big" games from McCuin, with the Kennesaw State game his best outing. What he did, though, was consistently rack up catches. That being said, when David Amador got healthy down the stretch, he became the go-to receiver, though McCuin was battling through injuries of his own. Look for McCuin to regain his top-tier form in 2025 in an explosive Roadrunners offense that returns Owen McCown under center with another offseason under his belt, and he and Amador should pair to be one of the better fantasy duos at receiver in the country.

28) Bryant Wesco, Clemson

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Wesco backed up his hype as a consensus blue-chip receiver out of high school and immediately became a staple of Clemson's passing attack during his true freshman season in 2024. He was the second-leading receiver for the Tigers last fall, racking up 41 catches for 708 yards and five touchdowns across 12 games. He wasted little time making an impact, recording two 100-yard outings in his first four games. He also garnered double-digit targets in each of his last three outings, including the ACC title game and the first-round College Football Playoff matchup against Texas. With Clemson returning star quarterback Cade Klubnik, along with its other top pass-catchers, this offense could be even better in 2025, and that would, of course, be highly beneficial for Wesco. Though Antonio Williams, who caught 75 passes last season, figures to remain the Tigers' top option through the air, Wesco and fellow returning starter TJ Moore are bigger bodies on the perimeter and should remain among Klubnik's favorite targets.

29) T.J. Moore, Clemson

2025 Fantasy Projection

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Moore, who ranked among the best high school wide receiver prospects of the 2024 class, instantly became a starter for the Tigers upon stepping on campus last year. In his true freshman season, he reeled in 45 catches for 651 yards and five touchdowns. He got more and more involved in the offense as the year went on and saved his best performance for the Tigers' last game: a nine-catch, 116-yard, one-touchdown outing in the College Football Playoff loss to Texas. Just like last season, he'll line up alongside receivers Antonio Williams and Bryant Wesco, both of whom are also coming off productive years. And once again, he'll have the uber-talented Cade Klubnik throwing him the football, a quarterback widely regarded as one of the best passers in college football. This should be an incredibly dangerous passing offense, and Moore and company are positioned to reap the rewards.

30) Miles Coleman, North Texas

2025 Fantasy Projection

2025 Fantasy Outlook

It's a new day for the Mean Green passing game. The top three receivers from 2024 are gone. That leaves Coleman as the top returning receiver. He had 36 catches for 378 yards and two touchdowns a year ago. Again, though, he was the fourth option in the passing game. Dynamic quarterback Chandler Morris, who threw for 3,774 yards and 31 touchdowns, is now with Virginia, which might dampen expectations a little bit, but the Mean Green should remain a formidable passing attack with either Drew Mestemaker or Miami transfer Reese Poffenbarger at the helm. Mestemaker got the start in the bowl game last year and threw the ball 41 times for 393 yards, two touchdowns, and two picks. Coleman also received the starting nod in the slot in that game, with DT Sheffield sitting it out and entering the transfer portal, and he didn't disappoint, racking six catches for 104 yards and a score. He's undersized at 5-foot-6, 159 pounds, but Coleman is expected to make the starting slot job his this fall, and he could have a big season in store.

31) Devin Voisin, South Alabama

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Voisin missed nearly the entire 2023 campaign after suffering a torn ACL. He played in all 13 games of the 2024 campaign, but wound up as the third option for the Jaguars behind Jamal Pritchett and Jeremiah Webb. Voisin totaled 34 receptions for 407 yards with no touchdowns. Both Webb and Pritchett have moved on to the NFL, leaving Voisin as the clear top option ahead of the 2025 campaign - a role he owned in 2022 when he logged 64 catches for 871 yards and five touchdowns. South Alabama attempted 30.1 passes per game last season, and with Major Applewhite at the helm of the program, expect the Jaguars to be pass-happy once again. Voisin isn't guaranteed to replicate Pritchett's 91 receptions, 1,127 yards and nine touchdowns from 2024, especially since he'll play outside while Pritchett lined up in the slot, but he's undoubtedly a threat to top post big numbers again in his final year of eligibility

32) Chris Bell, Louisville

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Coming off a career year, Bell is primed to emerge as one of the Cardinals' top pass-catchers in year two of the Jeff Brohm era. The wideout posted 43 catches for 737 yards and four touchdowns last season, but with the departure of Ja'Corey Brooks to the NFL, there's room for Bell to put up even bigger numbers in 2025. Louisville must replace another NFL-bound offensive centerpiece, quarterback Tyler Shough, but the Cardinals managed to sign one of the top gunslingers in the transfer portal in former USC quarterback Miller Moss. Though Moss fell out of favor last season as a first-time starter in Southern California, he still tossed for 2,555 yards, 18 touchdowns to nine interceptions while completing 64.4 percent of his passes. He's a capable, pro-style quarterback who should have no problem getting the 6-foot-2 Bell the football. Expect Bell and Caullin Lacy to be Louisville's top receiving duo in what should be another dangerous passing offense.

33) Nick Marsh, Michigan State

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Following a highly anticipated freshman season in East Lansing, the former four-star receiver appears primed for a breakout year in 2025. Despite the inconsistencies that come with the territory as a true freshman in a power conference, Marsh showed flashes of brilliance as well as a connection with quarterback Aidan Chiles, forming what has the potential to be one of the most exciting offensive duos in the conference. With former top target Montorie Foster out of the picture, Marsh appears to be the heir apparent to the top receiver spot and has the natural talent and opportunity to put together a massive season.

34) De'Zhaun Stribling, Ole Miss

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14311.912827466110

2025 Fantasy Outlook

In 2024, Stribling was the No. 1 wide receiver for a struggling Oklahoma State offense, racking up 52 catches for 882 yards and six touchdowns. Stribling comes into an Ole Miss wide receiver room that lost their top two options from a year ago. While Cayden Lee, who caught 57 passes for 874 yards a year ago, remains with the Rebels, his smaller 5-foot-11 build does not project him to be a top option on the outside, leaving the door open for Stribling to step in and assume top duties on the outside for the Rebels. With Lane Kiffin running the show for Ole Miss, Stribling has a very high ceiling, as Kiffin is as good as any coach at manufacturing big plays for his wideouts in the passing game.

35) Josh Cameron, Baylor

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14211.81269449800

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Cameron is a redshirt senior who enters the year as the expected No. 1 receiver for the Bears. He led the team with 52 catches for 754 yards and 10 touchdowns during his 2024 breakout season and is also a dynamic punt returner, ranking first in school history with a career punt return average of 18.18 yards. Baylor's offense is expected to be one of the best in the Big 12 with returning quarterback Sawyer Robertson and second-year OC Jake Spavital. Spavital's up-tempo offense should create a lot of opportunities for Cameron, and the Bears could be one of the highest scoring teams in the conference. Other talented pass-catchers on the team include Ashtyn Hawkins, though his eligibility for 2025 is highly unclear, Louis Brown, and Michael Trigg, who will aim to keep defenses honest.

36) Kenny Odom, UTEP

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14111.81273951700

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Odom was one of the guys that head coach Scotty Walden brought with him from Austin Peay. The move from the FCS to the FBS didn't hinder Odom at all. In fact, his numbers were even better at the FBS level. Odom had 46 catches for 741 yards and eight touchdowns with the Miners. Now, he's had a chance to acclimate himself to FBS football. The same goes for Scotty Walden, whose dynamic offense needed to be tweaked for the increase in oppositional talent. If everything breaks right for the Miners and for Odom, he could be in for a big season. The only question is the presence of Kam Thomas, another APSU transfer, who had 47 catches for 532 yards and two scores across just nine games. That being said, if everything breaks as it could for Walden, this passing game should sustain production for two receivers, and Odom at 5-foot-10 is more of an end-zone threat than Thomas, who stands at just 5-foot-7, 184 pounds.

37) Ryan Wingo, Texas

2025 Fantasy Projection

PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14111.712696398380

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Wingo impressed as a true freshman in 2024, compiling 29 catches for 472 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 100 yards on five attempts. In three College Football Playoff games, Wingo caught five of his 13 targets for 78 yards. He's slated to be one of Arch Manning's top targets in Austin as part of a wide receiver room that lost its top two options in Matthew Golden and Isaiah Bond from the 2024 crop of wideouts. Wingo missed the tail end of spring camp with a hamstring injury, but his absence was deemed precautionary, and he should be a full-go for fall camp and the regular season. Talent still abounds in this room with DeAndre Moore back and the additions of Emmett Mosely from Stanford and tight end Jack Endries from Cal, but Wingo seems poised to claim the top spot on the wideout depth chart in 2025. The Longhorns have produced two wide receivers with at least 750 receiving yards in back-to-back seasons.

38) Trent Walker, Oregon State

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
14011.71277963590

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Walker broke out as the clear top target in the passing attack in 2024, racking up 81 grabs for 901 yards and a pair of touchdowns over the course of the regular season. What's even more impressive is doing that despite having a quarterback under center who was far from impressive, with Gevani McCoy starting the first seven games and completing 62.3 percent of his passes (solid) for just 6.7 yards per attempt (not great) and a 3:5 TD:INT ratio (also bad). In comes Maalik Murphy from Duke. While McCoy was more of a rushing threat last year, running 59 times for 328 yards and five scores, Murphy is on the opposite end of the spectrum, losing 79 yards on his 19 totes last season. However, he also threw for 2,933 yards and 26 touchdowns, a far cry from McCoy's three. Even if Walker's target share takes a step back in 2025, improved efficiency and an increase in receiving scores could make him an intriguing fantasy target.

39) Darrell Gill, Syracuse

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Syracuse's passing offense absolutely exploded in 2024 under new head coach Fran Brown and new offensive coordinator Jeff Nixon. Despite being the fourth receiver in the pecking order, Gill was still able to capitalize on this offensive boom, reeling in 31 catches for 570 yards and two touchdowns en route to a career year. Now, with Syracuse's top three receivers from last season gone, Gill steps up to potentially assume the WR1 spot for the Orange, though the team did dip into the transfer portal to add Johntay Cook, a transfer from Texas who made a brief stop at Washington during the winter before reentering the transfer portal. Also gone is prolific quarterback Kyle McCord, so Gill must assimilate to a new gunslinger in his newfound role. That will either be Steve Angeli or Rickie Collins, who both have promise and transferred from big-time programs (LSU and Notre Dame, respectively). Neither can be expected to match the nearly 4,800 passing yards McCord put up last fall, and the passing game should regress to the mean a little, but Gill is still primed for his best year yet in one of college football's most exciting offenses.

40) Caleb Douglas, Texas Tech

2025 Fantasy Projection

Fantasy  Receiving  Rushing
PtsPPGGYdsRecTDYdsTD
13911.61277051640

2025 Fantasy Outlook

Douglas enters the 2025 season as one of the Red Raiders' top receiving options alongside teammate Coy Eakin, forming one of the best duos in the conference for returning quarterback Behren Morton. Last year's top receiver, Josh Kelly, has moved on to the NFL, which means that Douglas should be much more active on third downs and in the red zone. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound wideout amassed 877 yards and six touchdowns on 60 catches a year ago, and there's certainly room for growth in the touchdown department. Texas Tech always has a great offense, but they were particularly lethal under Joey McGuire in 2024, compiling 463 yards and 37.6 points per game, good for fourth in the nation.  Douglas is anticipated to be a centerpiece in one of the most explosive offenses in the country, and his existing rapport with Morton should make him a useful fantasy piece for most fantasy formats.
