2025 Fantasy Outlook
McAlister returns for his senior season as quarterback Josh Hoover's top target and TCU's most consistent deep threat receiver. He racked up 762 yards and five touchdowns on 39 receptions during the 2024 campaign. McAlister and Hoover are expected to be one of the most lethal combinations in the Big 12 Conference this coming year after the team lost key receivers Savion Williams, Jack Bech, and JP Richardson this offseason. The staff looked to the portal to add to the wideout depth, welcoming in Jordan Dwyer (Idaho transfer) and Joseph Manjack (Houston transfer). With Hoover working on chemistry with his new receivers, it should set up McAlister for a fast start to the year, as well as a big season overall. Another 100-yard receiving game
McAlister gathered in 9 of 18 targets for 124 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 23-17 win over West Virginia.
ANALYSIS
McAlister logged back-to-back double-digit target games as QB Josh Hoover has been looking his way early and often. McAlister did have a late fumble, but teammate Major Everhart saved the day with the recovery which sealed the win for the Horned Frogs. McAlister is having a breakout season and is well on pace to go over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career. The Horned Frogs are off next week before playing Iowa State in Week 11. McAlister will be a strong play against an Iowa State defense that is having a ton of trouble stopping opposing receivers right now.
