2024 Fantasy Outlook
Howard's stats climaxed in his 2023 season at Kansas State, tallying 2,643 passing yards, 351 rushing yards, and 33 total touchdowns with 10 interceptions. The super senior will now make his way to the Buckeyes, who enabled Kyle McCord to surpass 3,000 passing yards and log a 24:6 TD:INT ratio in his final year with the team. Though Howard will not have star wideout Marvin Harrison as an asset, he does join Ohio State with more experience as a starter and overall experience in spreading the love. Howard should be primed for another big season in his collegiate career as he joins wide receiver Emeka Egbuka and potential breakout freshman Jeremiah Smith, plus a pair of star running backs in TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins who can both contribute as receivers out of the backfield. Howard has all the skills necessary and as long as he makes it over the hump of acquainting with his new team, his output should only increase from his time as a Wildcat. Read Past Outlooks
Logs first rushing score with OSU
Howard completed 18 of 26 passes for 292 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 56-0 victory versus Western Michigan. He also had one rush for six yards with one touchdown.
ANALYSIS
The Buckeyes put up a gaudy stat line in this runaway win against the overmatched Broncos. Howard started the game completing his first 10 passes, and he logged a six-yard rushing touchdown before being relieved by backup quarterback Devin Brown in the third quarter. The Kansas State transfer also once again found wideout Jeremiah Smith with an easy completion over the middle before the star true freshman turned upfield for a 70-yard touchdown. Ohio State's awesome corps of offensive playmakers should continue to make things easy for Howard, though the impressive running back duo of Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson could limit Howard's scoring production going forward. Howard and the Buckeyes should continue to roll when they next play versus Marshall on Saturday, Sept. 21.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Wildcats averaged 38.8 points per game in Howard’s five starts last year which was a big reason they were able to capture the Big 12 title game. Kansas State returns eight offensive starters for a Chris Klieman squad which found their groove last year. While they did lose running back Deuce Vaughn to the NFL, they were able to add some depth with Florida State transfer Treshaun Ward to play alongside DJ Giddens in the backfield. Howard also has familiar targets in wide receiver Phillip Brooks and tight end Ben Sinnot. It’s a big positive that the coaching staff has full confidence in Howard as he goes in to his fourth year with the team. With one of the best offensive lines in the conference (all five starters returning), Kansas State should contend for a conference title once again.
