2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Wildcats averaged 38.8 points per game in Howard’s five starts last year which was a big reason they were able to capture the Big 12 title game. Kansas State returns eight offensive starters for a Chris Klieman squad which found their groove last year. While they did lose running back Deuce Vaughn to the NFL, they were able to add some depth with Florida State transfer Treshaun Ward to play alongside DJ Giddens in the backfield. Howard also has familiar targets in wide receiver Phillip Brooks and tight end Ben Sinnot. It’s a big positive that the coaching staff has full confidence in Howard as he goes in to his fourth year with the team. With one of the best offensive lines in the conference (all five starters returning), Kansas State should contend for a conference title once again. Read Past Outlooks

Questionable for Week 4
Howard (undisclosed) is questionable for Kansas State's game Saturday against Central Florida, Derek Young of On3.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Little is known about Howard's future availability. But if out, Avery Johnson is expected to start with Jake Rubley in line for backup duties. However, Kansas State's team has four days before its next game, giving Howard and the Wildcats some time for recovery.
